Eco-Arts Brings in New Faces

Last weekend was a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and gain a renewed appreciation for the many businesses in Manayunk that are doing their part to preserve the environment.

There was plenty of activity outside our store and all up and down Main St. There was an eco-friendly car show and we could hear the music playing on Cotton St. every time a customer walked in the door. It was really interesting to see exhibits like the jewelry made from wine glasses and bird cages from recycled materials.

We also had several of our previous customers stop buy to tell us that they will miss the Propper Brothers when Sam retires. It's a pretty hectic and exciting time for us. We sure want to send Sam out with a bang and we've added coupons on the site to give our special friends additional savings.

Hard Hats

The renovation of our store front continues and even our guardian owl has taken to wearing a hard hat these days.

The third story windows have been replaced and the parapet bricks are being re-done.

Of course getting into the store can be a bit of a challenge these days so we're having a crazy renovation sale with quality, name brand furniture up to 80% off! You won't believe the savings on sectionals, dining sets, chairs, sofas and more.

Our New Entrance is Open

Just wanted to extend an open invitation to visit our new entrance under the elevated train on Cresson Street. What was the original entrance to Propper Brothers when it first opened in 1888 has been boarded up for 30 years. Because we are doing a facelift to our entrance on Levering Street, we opened up the original door and display windows and we couldn't be more pleased with the results! Stop on by; we have sunlight pouring into the store and we would love to show off our new appearance. Don't forget about our extended hours on Wednesday nights. Stop by Manayunk, have a wonder dinner at any of the amazing eateries on Main Street and then swing by Propper Brothers to see how we can beautify your home. Can't wait to see you!

Three Day Event

Make a note of it...This weekend Friday April 9th, Saturday April 10th and Sunday April 11th. Join us for a first look at our spring arrivals. Take advantage of major discounts in every department storewide. We have extended our hours on Friday night to accommodate all of you who may not be able to get in before five o'clock--We're here until 9 PM that night. Just a reminder, you will have to use our entrance on Cresson Street (just follow the signs!) as our front entrance is closed as we continue to renovate. We can't wait to see you!

C'mon 'Round the Side!

We are doing some renovations here at Propper Brothers which have caused us to have to close our front entrance temporarily. Sorry for the inconvenience! Never fear, though, just follow the signs around the corner to Cresson Street (underneath the elevated train tracks) and use our side entrance. Just watch your step coming on through. Once you're inside, we promise that you won't even notice what is going on upstairs and you can take a walk through our showrooms with the usual ease. Can't wait to see all your smiling faces!
